Pumpkin Carob Milk Recipe
This recipe is amazingly easy and tasty. High in antioxidants like vitamin E, The pumpkin seeds are a great source of nutrients. Half a cup of seeds is one serving and provides 6 grams of protein. In addition, the seeds are a great source of fat, minerals and vitamins. A serving of seeds provides 100% of your RDI for Manganese, 70% of your RDI for Magnesium and Phosphorus and around 50% of your iron, copper and vitamin K.
Pumpkin Carob Milk
This is a very simple recipe that gives a very tasty milk. Strain through a fine mesh strainer if you wish. Blackstrap molasses may take some getting used to if you haven’t tried it before, but it is a sweetener that is also a great source of minerals and vitamins.
4 cups of water
1 cup of soaked pumpkin seeds
4 tablespoons of roasted carob
1 tablespoon of honey or blackstrap molasses
1 teaspoon stevia herb
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 pinch of unrefined salt
Blend all ingredients on high. Serve.
